Trip dates for upcoming trips will not be available prior to registration.  You will be able to register for a specific month and type of trip ONLY.  We hope to offer a number of trips in April, May, June, July and August.

    *    Applicants may be notified via e-mail of their departure date at any time as
         cancellations occur. 
    *    CIE will not accept requests for specific departure dates.

Program Descriptions:








Taglit-Birthright Israel: CIE Original Program (Ages 18-22)

From the breathtaking views from Masada to the buzzing excitement of an Israeli market, Taglit-Birthright Israel:CIE has something to offer everyone.  Join others from your local community or from across Canada on the experience of a lifetime to connect with the people, the history and the land of Israel itself.  Learn about Israeli heritage and immerse yourself in the country's modern, diverse and vibrant culture.  Explore your homeland in the company of Israeli soldiers who will join your group for once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as floating in the Dead Sea, drumming with the Bedouins in their desert tents and Shabbat services at the Western Wall.  There is no better way to experience Israel while making lifelong friendships with other young adults from back home!

This program is ONLY for those applicants who will be 18-22 years old when the trip departs.
Taglit-Birthright Israel: CIE Original Program (Ages 23-26) -

Taglit-Birthright Israel: CIE Russian/Canadian Adventure (Ages 18-26) -

Were you born in the Former Soviet Union?  Do you speak Russian?  Join a group of young Jewish adults from Russia as well as Israeli-Russian soldiers for a 10-day adventure in Israel.  Explore the beauty, history and complexities of the country through a common cultural lens.  With your peers you will get to hike the Golan Heights, enjoy Bedouin hospitality in the desert, experience the culture of Tel Aviv and the holiness of immigrants to Israeli society, academics and science.  You will walk away feeling inspired not ony by Israel's physical beauty and spirituality, but also by the relationships you will develop with Russian-speaking young Jewish adults from Canada, Russia and Israel.  Applicants must be able to speak some Russian and be comfortable in a Russian-speaking environment.

Taglit-Birthrght Israel: CIE Young Leadership (22-26) -

This program will include all the classic elements of our award-winning Taglit-Birthright Israel program.  Join others from your local community or from across Canada on the experience of a lifetime to connect with the people, the history and the land of Israel itself.  Learn about Israeli heritage and immerse yourself in the country's modern, diverse and vibrant culture. The Young Leadership program will also include a very unique opportunity to participate in a few select programs at the 2013 Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly in Jerusalem.  This trip will depart in November 2013 during the dates of the General Assembly. While this program is open to all 23-26 year olds, it is perfect for 22-26 year old students and young professionals who are active members and future leaders in their local Jewish communities.
