REGISTRATION PREVIEW

“HOW WILL I BE CHOSEN?” 

For all applicants, new and past, the selection process will be based on a LOTTERY SYSTEM!

What does this mean?

This means you have 24 hours from February 15th at 10:00 am EST to fully register in order to be considered into our Lottery System!

For example, if you apply at 10:30 am on February 15th you will be considered EQUALLY with someone who applies at 11:00 pm on February 15th.  In order to be entered into our Lottery System, you must have a completed online application, including a paid $250US* deposit.

*All deposits are subject to a $10 non-refundable handling fee by Payoneer, Inc.


THE APPLICATION – A step by step guide once registration opens:

 

STEP 1:  “WHERE DO I APPLY?”

On February 15th at 10am EST, go to www.israelforfree.com and register if you are a new applicant.  Complete all sections including deposit payment (in Section 7). Registration can only be submitted online.

On February 14th at 12 Noon EST go to www.israelforfree.com and register if you are a past applicant.  Past applicants can only pre-register at that time using the same log-in information (user name & password) they used on their past application(s).  If you do not remember your password, you can contact us now to send your password to you from your past application. 

You will be asked to choose a trip option as part of your application.  You can preview the trip options we will offer by going to the "Trip Options" tab on this website.

STEP 2: 
“WILL I RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM YOU?”

Canada Israel Experience communicates with applicants via e-mail.  Most e-mail services classify our messages as Junk Mail (i.e. Hotmail).    Please be sure your primary e-mail account is NOT a university server or a hotmail.com address.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE E-MAILS FROM US!  Please be sure to classify each of the following e-mail addresses as a ‘safe sender’ in your e-mail accounts:

 - @birthrightisrael.com;    

 - @ujafed.org; 
   

 - @canadaisraelexperience.com 


STEP 3: 
“WHICH FORMS DO I NEED TO SUBMIT?”

Go to the Forms page at http://israelforfree.com/forms.htm for instructions.

Please note forms for Spring/Summer 2012 will not be accessible until registration opens (February 14th at 12 Noon E.S.T. for past applicants; February 15th at 10:00 a.m. E.S.T. for new applicants).


STEP 4:
“DO I NEED TO SUBMIT ANYTHING ELSE?”

YES, you need to submit a copy of your valid Canadian passport to the National office of Canada Israel Experience in Toronto. 

A valid passport is one that expires a minimum of 6 months after your return date (i.e. if you return from Israel on July 2, 2012, your passport must expire no earlier than January 2, 2013)
