Winter 2010/2011 Registration Forms


1) “I applied online at www.israelforfree.com, what do I do next?”

It’s easy, just follow STEP 1 & 2 below:

Download, print and sign the form below:

    STEP 2:
    Submit a photocopy of your valid passport

    The CIE Waiver Form and a photocopy of your valid passport must be sent/dropped off to the following address:

    STEP 2:
    Submit a photocopy of your valid passport

    The CIE Waiver Form and a photocopy of your valid passport must be sent/dropped off to the following address:

    You will be considered an official CIE applicant only once you have registered fully on www.israelforfree.com (including your deposit payment) AND completed STEPS 1 & 2.

    Applicants will be accepted to the Taglit-Birthright Israel: CIE program as part of a lottery system. Please note that a certain percentage of the allocated spaces are distributed on a discretionary basis. For more detail on this, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions page.

    2) “Is that it? What do I do next?”
    Once we receive your initial application you will be contacted by a local CIE representative to schedule a mandatory trip interview.

    Remember - you must first ensure that you:
    • Completed your online registration form at www.israelforfree.com
    • Made payment online on application
    • Signed and sent the CIE Waiver Form. If you send the form by fax or e-mail please DO NOT mail them to us as well.
    • Sent a photocopy of your valid passport

    Stay tuned! Steps 3, 4, and 5 will be required later – you will be advised accordingly.

    PLEASE NOTE if either you or one of your parents were born in Israel:

    If you were born in Israel, we require proof that you have resided in Canada since the age of 12. In addition, if either you or your parents were born in Israel, you must also contact the Consulate or Embassy of Israel to enquire if you should obtain an Israeli passport and Army exemption papers. We encourage you to begin this process immediately, as it may take 6-8 weeks to complete. You will not be accepted on a CIE program if you do not obtain these papers prior to departure.

    3) “Once I apply, how will I be contacted by Canada Israel Experience?”
    We communicate (most often) via e-mail. Most e-mail services classify our messages as Junk Mail.  Please be sure your primary e-mail account is NOT a university server or a hotmail.com address.  We cannot be responsible if you do not receive e-mails from us!  Please be sure to classify each of the following e-mail addresses as a 'safe sender' in your e-mail accounts:
